You may be at the end of your rope with trying to sleep better, or you may just want to optimize your health as much as you can. Many people who sauna regularly report that they have noticed a positive effect on their sleep.

Members of the Sunlighten Community weighed in on their own experiences and we were pleased with the feedback. Some sauna users slept better with a morning session, while others preferred to sauna in the evening. 

The important part is finding the habit that works best for you. As Sydney S. explains, “I experience a lot of stress in the day-to-day and it can take a bit to decompress so I can sleep.” If you are like her, adding evening sauna to your habit to decompress may help you wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day.
